Candidates will be provided with the course materials for their chosen programme and will be required to work through a series of tasks and activities designed to reinforce the learning process, evaluate their skills and test their knowledge. The ILM Level 2 Award and Certificate in Preparing for Business Enterprise are internally assessed. For the Award, assessment takes the form of a reflective log. In addition, learners must also produce a simple business case/plan to fulfil the assessment criteria of the Certificate programme.
The programme will enable candidates to further their own continuous professional development, improve career prospects, or progress to further training. Having successfully achieved this qualification, the learner may wish to progress on to further qualifications, such as courses in leadership or management.
