The ILM Level 2 Award in Exploring Business Enterprise is ideal for candidates of all ages, in a variety of contexts and settings. The Award is designed to be flexible and appeal to a wide audience of learners, including learners at school, in further and higher education, members of community groups, voluntary groups and social groups.
By allowing learners to explore enterprise in terms of its purpose, functions and operations, this course will help learners to recognise the basic personal knowledge and skills required to work effectively and successfully within an enterprise.
The ILM Award in Exploring Business Enterprise comprises two mandatory units. Candidates must successfully complete both mandatory units in order to achieve the qualification:
Candidates will be provided with course materials for the programme. The learning materials contain the knowledge needed to meet the assessment requirements of the course and contains activities to allow candidates to practice their skills and test their learning. Candidates work through the learning materials, completing a work-based assignment and reflective log to provide the required evidence to cover all learning outcomes of this qualification. The ILM Level 2 Award in Exploring Business Enterprise is internally assessed.
