The annual report from Ofsted highlights that in cases of serious child abuse in England, lessons are not being learned quickly enough. According to Ofsted inspectors this is a consequence of inadequate case reviews.
The report, which now covers all children’s services, also said some staff were not equipped to respond to signs of abuse and neglect.
Tribal's Safeguarding Children and Young People programme is designed to raise awareness of child abuse and advise on how it should be identified and reported.
This Level 2 programme is appropriate for individuals working in any environment where there is contact with children, including youth workers, care workers, local authority staff, school support staff and voluntary workers, as well as those who work in an environment with children but do not have a direct role.
