Tribal Learning and Publishing has a history of working with employers to provide cost-effective training solutions that meet business and learners' needs. At the core of our business are our innovative, high-quality, flexible learning materials, which have been designed to create structured learning pathways to the achievement of nationally-accredited qualifications.
Added to these is our expertise in government funding, which enables us to support employers to locate training that is funded by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), reducing pressure on overstretched training budgets.
Finally, we are experts in training and can support centres with training design, development and delivery. Our services to employers include brokerage, direct delivery and support with in-house training.
brokerage
Tribal Learning and Publishing currently works with over 160 colleges and private training provider partners who deliver our courses using LSC funding. This network enables us to map the training available with your organisation's needs, enabling you to access subsidised and low-cost accredited training.
We specialise in brokering training solutions for businesses with multi-site locations, taking the strain out of sourcing and organising training for you. Since 2001, over 400,000 employees have accessed government-funded training through our national network of training providers.
Where the supply of training you need is limited, we can advocate on your behalf; negotiating with providers to source the training you require.
direct delivery
To meet the needs of employers, Tribal Learning and Publishing is approved to run a range of programmes with the following awarding bodies: NCFE, OCR, City & Guilds, CMI and Edexcel. We can offer a comprehensive training delivery solution, which can be particularly helpful to employers where no LSC-funded training is available.
Employers who have chosen this option want the quality and flexibility provided by Tribal Learning and Publishing learning materials with a localised solution that may not be available through a funded route. Where employers have particular requirements regarding delivery, Tribal Learning and Publishing can be responsive and creative, developing bespoke training that meets employers' needs effectively.
support with in-house training
Many employers have well-developed training departments, but may not have the capacity for development of high-quality, accredited learning materials. In addition, we have found that inspectors are increasingly demanding evidence of accredited training to satisfy standards and regulations.
For those organisations that prefer to keep their training in house, we can work with training departments to help them implement Tribal Learning and Publishing programmes. As part of our commitment to quality, we can assist new centres with awarding body approval, curriculum planning, assessor training and developing quality systems.
In addition to our NVQ and certificate courses, we can now offer non-accredited training opportunities through our Raising Skills for Work series.
