Who is it for?

This course is a comprehensive introduction for anyone considering a career in crowd management or event management. The qualification aims to provide an introduction to the role of an event steward and to develop an understanding of the principles of spectator control.

Course delivery and assessment

Candidates will be provided with the course materials for the programme and will be required to work through a series of tasks and activities designed to reinforce the learning process and test their knowledge. Each candidate is required to create a portfolio of evidence drawn from actual or simulated situations as appropriate, which demonstrates achievement of all learning outcomes associated with each unit. They must also complete a short, externally set multiple-choice question paper.
